Class of 2016

Andrew Arredondo: Andrew is from Los Angeles, CA. He is a senior in the School of Engineering and Applied Science and is pursuing a double major in Mechanical Engineering and Economics. He's currently involved in the Knicker Bocker Motor Sports Club and is also part of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE).

He is interested in journalism and has been writing for Columbia's newspaper, the Spectator, in the Arts and Entertainment section as well as the Sports section. He also has been active in community service on campus. This past summer Stephen worked in wealth management at KMH Financial Services.  He also participates in Sabor, a latin dance group.

Paolo Bertolotti: Paolo is a senior in SEAS from Port Washington, Long Island. He is studying Financial Engineering and hopes to end up in finance, along with everyone else at Columbia. He plays sports from time to time and is the current captain of the Columbia University Sailing Team.

Kwabena Boateng:  Kobe is a senior majoring in Financial Economics. As a Ghanaian who immigrated to New York in August of 2012, he is highly interested in investment management. He tutored for America Reads in his first year and is a former business analyst for the Columbia Spectator. He is also a member of the Columbia Financial Investment Group. His other interests are music, fashion, basketball and soccer.

 Zander Daniel: Zander is a senior in Columbia College majoring in history.  Hailing from New York City, Zander is right at home at Columbia and is pumped to be around to cheer on his Yankees and NY Jets. In his free time, Zander loves watching West Wing and 24 re-runs and exploring the greatest city in the world. Zander has previously served as the chapter's treasurer, and outside of Sigma Nu he is the former director of Non-Profit Development for the Spectator Publishing Company.  Zander is currently studying abroad in London.

He is part of the Helvidius Group, the Journal of International Affairs, and Moneythink. In his free time he plays guitar in the band Standard Delivery, which opened for Hoodie Allen at the Columbia Music Festival.

A technical genius, he worked for almost two years at Borne Digital, an early-stage startup in the city, and hopes to do big things in the tech world wherever he ends up. He is also a member of the Men's Rugby Club and serves as their treasurer. More than anything, he enjoys cracking jokes with his brothers and relaxing in the oasis within Columbia that is Sigma Nu.

Chris Lites: Chris was born in Manhattan and moved out to the suburbs of Long Island when he was around 3.  He attended Cold Spring Harbor High School, participating in multiple sports including basketball, tennis, swimming, and football. Chris is a senior in Columbia College as a pre-med student majoring in Neuroscience.  He currently works as a research assistant at Columbia University's medical center, after working at Mount Sinai hospital this past summer. He has attended the pre-college program at the Manhattan School of Music since he was 6, where he studied classical piano, music theory, literature, and  ear training.  Fun fact: Chris has a twin named Barry who also attends Columbia.

This summer, Jacob worked in personal finance at Northwestern Mutual.  He is a big football fan, and is particularly fond of (read: obsessed with) his hometown Seahawks.

Edgardo Martinez: Edgardo is from Miami, FL, and attended Christopher Columbus High School. Upon graduation he joined the United States Navy where he served as a submarine nuclear operator. Edgardo came to Columbia in 2012 and is majoring in Neuroscience. Outside of school he is an avid sports enthusiast and has a huge tolerance for pain because he is a lifelong Dolphins fan. Edgardo made a small fortune selling some of his old war bonds and is now living in one of Manhattan's finest retirement homes.

He plays intramural tennis and serves the exalted position of Sentinel within the fraternity. Rumor has it that this role is actually camouflage for his true role as head of Sigma Nu's shadow government.

Sam Waters: Sam is a senior in Columbia College majoring in Financial economics.  He is originally from a quaint village up North known as Scarsdale.  Outside of Sigma Nu, Sam serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Spectator Publishing Company and as the Campus Representative for the beloved app Yik Yak.  This fall, he is interning in Premium Sales and Service for the New York Yankees, and he also volunteers for Let’s Get Ready, a tutoring agency that helps underprivileged high school students prepare for college and the SAT.  Sam also loves dogs and Chipotle.

Jay Robinson: Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Jay is an active member of CIRCA.  He is majoring in Financial Economics, and he also plays club lacrosse.
