Recent Graduates

David Alper: David Alper, SEAS 2017, majored in Operations Research. He spent last summer participating in the University of Minnesota's Biostatistic's program. David enjoys cycling back home in Minneapolis and was a member of CUFE (Columbia University Financial Engineering organization) here at Columbia.

John Bender: John, SEAS 2017, is originally from The Woodlands, Texas.  He studied chemical engineering, and is an avid basketball enthusiast.  John is also, to the best of our knowledge, at least part Belgian.

Marshall Bozeman: Marshall, CC 2017, was our chapter's previous Commander, and worked furiously as Recorder before that. Before Columbia, Marshall attended Southside Christian School, where he led his fellow Sabres in student council. Though no longer involved in student council, Marshall's Political Science major and upbringing in Greenville, SC--near Gaffney, SC--has led to comparisons between himself and a certain Netflix politician. A lover, honorer, and truther, Marshall lead chapter like no other.

John Davenport: John was born in San Francisco, California but moved to Newport Beach, California at the age of three. He attended Corona del Mar High school. He formerly played for the golf team at Columbia University. John also loves to hang out at the beach and play video games. He is an In-N-Out Burger and taco fanatic. He is very facey.

James DelGado: James is from Cincinnati, Ohio, and majored in Engineering Management Systems. He was a captain of the Men's Swimming and Diving team where he swims the distance and IM events.  He also served as a RC@C facilitator through the "Alice!" health initiative. In his free time James enjoys ba55ing out with his brothers and cheering on Cincinnati Sports teams.

Outside of Sigma Nu, he was active on campus as Vice President of Consult Your Community, a non-profit organization providing pro bono consulting services to small businesses in Morningside Heights and Harlem. Over his summer breaks, Cameron interned in Wealth Management at Morgan Stanley and in Corporate Development at Answers Corporation. In his free time, he liked to play tennis in CU Tennis Club, and attend speeches and events put on by CORE.

Jack Foster:  Jack is in the CC class of 2017 and is originally from Silver Spring, Maryland.  He attended Montgomery Blair High School.  He majored in financial economics, and he was a captain of the Men's Swimming and Diving team.  He interned at Digital Capital Advisors.

He studied French, Chinese, and Spanish and hoped to begin a fifth language before graduation. Will plans on going to law school for civil rights law and eventually entering public office, and becoming the most politically powerful person west of the Mississippi. He studied abroad in Paris, France.

Outside of the classroom, he worked as a Resident Advisor, did Orthopedics and Cardiology research, played piano in a Columbia jazz ensemble, and was formerly Sigma Nu's Scholarship Chair. His hobbies include running, playing pick-up basketball, and practicing his Mandarin Chinese.

Outside of school, Loren was formerly in the General Studies Student Council and loves sailing and skiing.

Alex Reynolds:  Alex is a Financial Economics major in CC class of 2017. Originally from Phoenix, AZ, Alex welcomes the cold weather and big city. Outside of Sigma Nu, Alex was a bartender in the Columbia Bartending Agency and is involved in the Undergraduate Recruitment Committee and Columbia admissions. A devout baseball and tennis fan, Alex firmly believes that Federer is a god, and he will forever remember the 2001 World Series, as this is likely the only one that his beloved Diamondbacks will ever win. Over the Summer, Alex interned with a hedge fund in Connecticut and learned that he does indeed enjoy finance. Alex misses and loves his dog Scout.

Sean Ryan: Sean is a CC 2017 student from Houston, Texas, previously attending Strake Jesuit College Preparatory.  He majored in Political Science and Hispanic Studies and concentrate in Psychology.  He served as President of the Columbia College Class of 2017, as the National Communication Coordinator for the Columbia Residence Hall Leadership Organization, as a member of the Coalition Against Sexual Violence, as a member of the Columbia Catholic Undergraduates, and as a member of the National Residence Hall Honorary.  His passions include politics and law, and he has worked to legally support clients on Texas Death Row.  Unfortunately, he was not very involved in extra-curricular activities around campus, and hopes to branch out soon.

Ryan Madani: Yo! Ryan Madani is a senior from McLean, Virginia and went to Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology. He studied financial economics. He also enjoys hiking, biking, and appreciating nature.

Dan Radov: Dan Radov is from Baltimore, MD, and went to the Gilman School. He is involved with the Columbia Daily Spectator as a sports writer and is a sports broadcaster on WKCR. After college, Dan hopes to get involved in sports journalism and will be working with Fox Sports over the summer.

Noah Turett: Noah is from Irvington, NY, where he went to Irvington High School. A self-described "Belieber" (avid Justin Bieber fan), Noah hopes to emulate the pop star in his appearance and actions.

Kevin Zajc: Kevin Zajc (pronounced Zacajawea), Columbia College class of 2017, obtained a degree in Economics.  He grew up in North Salem, NY where he spends his summers working for a small irrigation company. In his spare time, Kevin is a devoted Arsenal Football Club fan. He studied abroad in London, UK this spring.
