Columbia University Historical Initiative
In the summer of 2012, our brothers launched an ambitious campaign to help preserve and highlight Columbia's history through the collection and display of University-related antiques in our brownstone. These range from Commencement programs from 1919, to magazine covers detailing the 1968 Riot, to newspaper clippings announcing Columbia's move to its uptown campus at the turn of the 20th century. Below you'll find a carousel gallery that features a few of our finds (click on the pictures to cycle). Please feel free to arrange a visit to our house to take a look at the real versions! This is just one way that we hope to improve the sense of community at Columbia and cultivate pride in our university.
