Rush events typically remain open to all those interested in Greek Life during this time period. Drop by the Greek brownstones anytime, especially on the weekends, to introduce yourself. Greeks will also be advertising on campus and participating in student organization recruitment fairs/events.
Rush begins and fraternity houses open to the general campus for recruitment of new members. All registered fraternity houses are located on 114th and 113th streets between Broadway and Amsterdam. They are marked by plaques that have Greek letters on them. Sigma Nu's house is at 556 West 113th Street, on the South side of 113th between Amsterdam and Broadway next to McBain. Don't be shy to simply walk up to a house and introduce yourself -- we're friendly and want you to visit as many fraternities as possible so that you can make the most informed decision possible.
Meet Greeks who have arrived on campus early for Orientation programs. Feel free to ask them about what it means to be a Greek at Columbia.
