2013 Executive Command

Jon Paul, Eminent Commander: Jon Paul is a junior from Philadelphia, PA pursuing a degree in Computer Science. His specific focus is Artificial Intelligence with a minor in Economics. Jon spent his last summer as a Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs in the Sales & Trading Division of the firm. He's also worked on several projects in the past for the Finance Division of the university. Within the fraternity, Jon has served as Treasurer and outside of the fraternity, he takes part in CIRCA (Columbia International Relations Council and Association), NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers), Intramural Sports, and serving as a Tutor/Mentor in various programs.

Tyler Zimmet, Lieutenant Commander: Tyler is a junior in Columbia College majoring in Financial Economics, and is originally from Agoura, California, just north of Los Angeles.  Within the fraternity, Tyler serves as Lieutenant Commander and Chairman of the Sigma Nu Historical Initiative.  He serves as the treasurer of Columbia International Relations Council and Association (CIRCA), one of Columbia's largest student organizations, where he oversees a budget of over $150,000 a year.  Tyler is also an Advisory Board member of the Undergraduate Recruitment Committee (URC) and an Executive Board member of the Columbia College Student Ambassadors group.  Finally, Tyler worked this past summer at Houlihan Lokey, an investment banking firm in NYC where he interned as a summer financial analyst.

Zander Daniel, Treasurer: Zander is a sophomore in Columbia College hoping to major in history or political science. Hailing from New York City, Zander is right at home at Columbia and is pumped to be around to cheer on his Yankees and NY Jets. In his free time, Zander loves watching West Wing and 24 re-runs and exploring the greatest city in the world. Outside of Sigma Nu, Zander is involved with Spectator business division, the Columbia debate team, and Model UN. He worked for a real estate investment and advisory firm this past summer. He attended Horace Mann for high school.

Emilio Fajardo, Social Chairman: Emilio was born in Stockton, CA but moved out to the suburbs of Kansas City, KS where he was raised. He is a junior graduating in 2015, currently pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Economics. Emilio has a devotion to sports that led him to join CURR and play intramural sports. In addition, he's followed a strong passion music and has learned to play several instruments.

He is a member of the Columbia Men's Varsity Swimming & Diving team, specializing in breaststroke and butterfly. Additionally he plays classical piano and cello but also enjoys producing electronic dance music and DJing.  He is currently studying to major in Neuroscience and plans to concentrate in Music Theory and Composition.

Sam Waters, Recruitment Chairman:  Sam is a freshman in Columbia College.  He is from Westchester, NY and is undecided in his major.  He works as an advertising sales associate for the Columbia Daily Spectator and as a Critical Reading tutor for Let's Get Ready, a program that helps underprivileged teens prepare for the SAT and college.  Sam is an avid sports fan, and he is especially fond of his hometown Yankees.
