2016 Executive Command

Michael Fagundo, Eminent Commander: Michael is a junior from Boulder, Colorado. He attended The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Connecticut and is majoring in Financial Economics with a concentration in Classics. Mike loves romantic cruises around City Island.

Samir Wadhwani, Lieutenant Commander:  Samir Wadhwani is a junior in CC from New Jersey majoring in statistics and studying premed. On campus he is a member of HEART, Columbia rugby (half the time), and does glaucoma research. Samir is also oddly an Arizona Cardinals and Phoenix Suns fan.

Outside of Sigma Nu, he is a board member of 116th & Partners, a student-run investment group. This past summer, he worked as a Summer Credit Analyst at Monroe Capital. Prior to that, he worked as a Policy Associate with Capalino+Company.

He attended Durham Academy, and took a gap year to travel around New Zealand and Asia before coming to Columbia. He is studying Economics with a concentration in psychology. Will loves Duke Basketball and enjoys making hoop-mixtapes in the gym. He is on the Parliamentary Debate team at Columbia, and is a licensed mixologist for the Bartending Association.

Chris Gaw, Chaplain: Chris is sophomore in SEAS majoring in Mechanical Engineering. From Santa Clarita, Chris loves playing tennis and learning about sports through playing video games. Personally, he does not enjoy writing, and leaves that task up to his friends.

Sam Quillen, LEAD Chairman: Sam is a sophomore in Columbia College from Boston, Massachusetts. He has also lived in Puerto Rico and Shanghai. He loves playing sports and is an avid fan of the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots. At Columbia he intends to pursue his true passion of studying Xenobiology.

Fernando Garcia, Alumni Chairman:  Fernando is a junior majoring in Economics-Mathematics. He hails from Recife, Brazil and currently serves as the Alumni Chair for Sigma Nu’s Delta Gamma chapter. While not busy with the extremely demanding task of bringing alumni back to the house, he’s usually watching sports, pulling an all-nighter at the library, or feigning interest in pretentious works of art to impress girls. After graduation, Fernando plans to sell out by working in the private sector until he feels guilty enough to pursue his dream of helping poor countries develop

From Newark, New Jersey, Mike loves giving back to those in need, and is a board member of Camp Kesem and Columbia.

Outside of the classroom, Zach is an avid runner, a casual basketball fan (allegiance: Boston Celtics), and a staunch supporter of Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
