Sigma Nu - Delta Gamma

Chapter Founded:

1908

Brownstone:

Located on 113th on the south side of the street between Broadway and Amsterdam (556 W. 113th). Sigma Nu has occupied the brownstone since the early 1960's. The brownstone permanently houses 14 brothers in 10 singles and 2 doubles. The 5 floor house is complete with kitchen, 6 full bathrooms, backyard access, Brothers' Room Lounge, basement bar area, and two large living rooms.

National Fraternity:

Founded in 1869 at the Virginia Military Institute, Sigma Nu is one of the nation's oldest and largest social fraternities, boasting 278 active and inactive chapters and 227,000 initiates. In the Ivy League, Dartmouth, Yale, Penn and Columbia have active Sigma Nu chapters, along with other top schools, like MIT, Stanford, and Duke.
